QHA, in collaboration with the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, is providing support services to increase breast and cervical cancer screening rates through the implementation of EBIs in primary care clinics for the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP).
QHA is recruiting clinics disproportionately burdened by breast and cervical cancer. Staff will conduct readiness assessments to assist clinics in selecting evidence-based interventions (EBIs). Other activities include identifying a clinic champion, developing a cancer screening policy, and providing technical assistance and quality improvement expertise. QHA will also collect CDC-required, clinic-level data.
This initiative is funded by the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, Women’s Way Program.
